Dude. Everyone has a moment where they feel they'll only be known for one thing. Look at say Harrison Ford. The man has made hundreds of movies in many genres from action, to comedy to drama. Yet despite all he's accomplished, his biggest gripe is that most people only know him as Han Solo or Indiana Jones.

That's just in example in general. In your case, you'd be comparable to say Jason Biggs. This guy has tried his hardest to make something of himself outside the American Pie series, yet despite all he's accomplished, he will always gripe that people will only remember him as the guy the Piefucker.

However here's the thing. Much of the reason why it still gets mentioned for both of them, is because they complain about it just as much as their share of fans talk about it. The best thing you can do right now is keep doing what you're doing until it blows over.
